eCommerce and Business Intelligence Development, IT Compliancy with Risk Assessment, Change Management and Strategies.Managed four direct reports, a 70 server data center, the strategic I.T. direction, fixed asset and capital expenditure budgets and managed the IT SOX compliancy.  Planned, Managed and implemented the company’s first major upgrade of their CRM / ERP system, Tigerpaw Software and brought key personnel from around the business together to form the Tigerpaw Core Business Team. This team is responsible for testing upgrades, defining data consistency, workflows and training. This team has implemented an additional major upgrade and minor update. Designed, Managed and Developed Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboard SQL Framework for each business segment to easily implement respective dashboards. Purchased and Implemented Vineyardsoft’s KnowledgeSync software, an application to automate reporting and workflow. This application allowed me to fully remove the Crystal Reports Server. Managed implementation of McAfee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system project which monitors and manages how confidential and sensitive data enters and leaves the corporate network. Managed two facility moves: Warehouse and the Greensboro Sales and Support office. Worked closely with each business unit to understand their infrastructure and data needs.

Tekgraf Corporation, a North American Distributor of Wide Format printing technologies with sales and warehouse operations across USA.Managed three direct reports, a 20 server data center, the strategic I.T. direction, budget and executive reporting needs. • Customized and implemented the company’s first eCommerce application, trained Marketing, Sales, Executives and Customers in its use: growing online sales from $0 in 2004 to an average of $450K monthly in 2009. Designed and Implemented “Standard Operating Procedure” documentation. Designed, developed and implemented the first company Intranet to manage the reservation of corporate resources; board room, conference rooms and projectors; manage and track time off requests including Vacation, Sickness, Jury Duty, Leave of Absence; manage “Documents On Demand” allowing each department to upload documents to share across the corporation; Marketing slicks and material, standard operating procedures and training guides, and department specific information. Managed the Data Center move when corporate moved physical locations; began tear-down and move on a Friday afternoon and had the network, email, phones and ERP fully functional by 4:00 am Saturday morning. Gathered and Defined Business and Programming Requirements for an outside consulting firm to customize the ERP system to better manage instant rebates, free shipping rules, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Point of Sale Reporting; enabling 25% - 50% increase in productivity across multiple departments. Managed and Implemented our Warehouse Automation project; installation and configuration of handheld barcode devices (Intermec), creating barcode labels and barcode printing standards, and ERP Warehouse Automation installation; increasing warehouse and shipping accuracy two fold.

Managed five direct reports and strategic application development projects. Bi-annually analyzed the electronics and computer distribution e-Business sectors, presented findings to key senior managers and determined the e-Business strategy going forward. Coached and mentored teams of developers enabling them to further develop their competencies and careers. Managed four successful e-Business acquisition integration projects and development teams, both local and remote, with the results on time and within budget. Designed, developed and implemented the first company Intranet based Data Warehousing and reporting system reducing the quarterly report data gathering cycle from 3 weeks to 4 days. On a twenty-member task force: gathered business requirements, designed Graphical User Interface (GUI) and back office connectivity to the mainframe for the company’s first Enterprise Visual Basic sales automation application reducing user system training from 3 months to 4 weeks. Managed first RosettaNet ® implementation project for the Computer Products division of Arrow with Hewlett-Packard; setting an industry standard in Real-Time Business Process integration utilizing Extensive Mark-up Language (XML) technology. Implemented business requirements gathering, documentation and functional specification standards for the Computer Products Internet Development MIS department allowing the department to fully understand the scope of each project. Managed the business requirements gathering, project planning, and the development release cycle of an Intranet suite of applications utilizing JAVA standards enabling the developers to add new business requirement functions in days rather than weeks. Developed and implemented a Special Pricing system for the Government Sales division allowing for 200% growth in sales without additional head count.

Managed four remote Technical Service departments comprising of nineteen System Engineers. Determined strategy to de-centralize the services organization allowing the System Engineers to be close to the divisions that they supported.Received "Best Technical Support" award from Computer Reseller Magazine, a CMP publication.Customized and implemented a Help Desk ticket tracking system that increased the technical team's productivity, efficiency and accuracy by 70% allowing the team to search past tickets and technical white papers.Designed, developed and implemented the first website within the company utilizing Cold Fusion ® and MS Access ®.Facilitated two training seminars on the new website including a demo and marketing strategies for the customers; increasing the hit count from several thousand hits per week to over 4 million hits per week.
