Every other summer, my family would host or participate in our annual family reunion. Most of the reunions would be held Mississippi, so we would fly from San Jose Mineta Airport to New Orleans International Airport. I was always fascinated by the planes, and this sparked my interest in flying and became the drive for why I want to become a pilot. As a pilot, we go by three rules aviate, navigate and communicate. I use these rules when, establishing life goals as well. I plan on working for an airline or private individual and would like use my flight skills to help others especially during disaster relief. I would like to use my flight skills to provide services to others during times of fires, hurricanes, and earthquakes. My family has always taught me to lift others up higher than myself, so being a pilot I can literally do that. I would also like to mentor other young people to let them know this too can become their dream and all things are possible.
