Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) through the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). As part of the Northwest Michigan PTAC, assist companies in the 15 counties of the Upper Peninsula and 10 counties of Northwest Lower Michigan with navigating the government contracting process . NW Michigan PTAC received national recognition along with the Wisconsin Procurement Institute for the 2013 Project of the Year from the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC). We provide assistance with:- Registrations and Certifications- Small business set-aside programs- Responding to solicitations (RFP,RFQ, IFB)- Market research and purchase histories- Specifications and Standards- Training and Resources

-Worked with ownership to setup all aspects of a new hotel -Oversaw the entire operation of an all suites, 60-room hotel with indoor water playground and tanning salon -Tracked expenses, payroll, productivity, revenue and anticipated hotel usage -Supervised 40 staff to maintain, clean and operate the hotel -Provided training for staff to properly perform their jobs -Marketed the facilities to potential customers

-Responsible for 1200 bed lodging operation, two dining facilities, classrooms, laundry facility, chapel, campground, fitness center and recreation facilities -Supervised 40 civilian and military employees assigned to the section during the peak training season -Managed civilian payroll budget, food purchases, laundry/repair budget and supplies/equipment budget of $750K to $1million annually -Processed reimbursements from customers over $150K annually -Assisted with 100% design of new $6.8M dining facility and lodging office -Obtained funding and purchased furnishings over $1M for lodging upgrades

-In addition to regularly assigned duties as the Services Manager, served as an instructor for the Community College of the Air Force, accredited professional military education classes -Taught classes for beginning supervisors pertaining to supervision, counseling, speech, professionalism and Air Force history

-Processed payments against government contracts for supplies or services -Quality Control, conducted internal accounting audits -Accounting experience with payroll, timecards and travel vouchers -Cashier responsible for paying, collecting and balancing funds -Accounts receivable, invoicing and collecting from customers -Constant communication with Contracting Officers and contractors
