I think of myself as sort of a recovering engineer who has had an opportunity to boomerang in transition between two worlds, both connected by data and technology…Early in my career, working with some of the heaviest hitters in technology, (e.g., Microsoft), I performed in technology adjacent, product management roles. Executing with a metrics driven, strategist mindset, along with a knack for leveraging systems thinking and emerging technologies, I produced a number of organizationally impactful product achievements.Later, my interest in education, supported by acceptance into the Broad Foundation’s prestigious fellowship program, allowed a shift to education. Successfully managing complex programs with diverse stakeholders in high stakes, Federal, State and Local education environments allowed achievements focused on building data and analytics systems and solutions used to inform (e.g., performance, assessment, and accountability). My journey back to my roots began recently where I served as Dir Product Owner, in the AI, NLP lab of a major education, measurement, and assessment, company. It continues with my acceptance into Tech Equity Collective’s Tech Prep program, an initiative started by Google to support transition to technical roles in the tech industry.Throughout my career my passion, and consistent theme, is in my ability, independent of vertical to integrate the work, across departments, business units, and functions, toward designing and/or orchestrating an integrated end-user/customer solution.Career Highlights include:➤ Adapting an Agile framework for a research-heavy environment and instituting change management across 5 NLP, capability teams supporting reaching a minimum of 75% OKRs.➤ Facilitating and managing the team and stakeholder process to support developing the Fed required ESSA state-wide accountability model contributing model design that included a weighted algorithm, recognized as a top 10 ESSA Plan in the country for that year.➤ Developing a strategy employing configurable volume licensing program models used for standardizing software monetization for a global software provider, then implementing this solution as a global project, which yielded a top 10% ranking in my performance review.Key Skills include:➤ Technical Product Management & Life Cycle➤ Certified AWS Cloud Solutions Architect – Associate➤ Stakeholder Management➤ Certified Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies➤ Cross Team Facilitation➤ Program & Project Management➤ Digital Transformation➤ Assessment Administration & Performance Analytics
