I was born full of curiosity and a deep desire to connect everything to the deeper meaning of life and to spread joy. The world is wonderous to me and I want to experience as much of it as I possibly can.Growing up, the mantra in our humble, blue-collar household was simple: “work, work, work”. We had what we needed, but we didn’t have money for college. So with a strong work ethic, determination, positive attitude and desire to enjoy the journey I set off into the world.I attended 3+ years of community college but abandoned it because I was learning so much working at Towers Perrin. It was a risk, but fortunately my managers saw my potential and provided limitless opportunities.Over the years I led, designed, implemented and supported a variety of large-scale global programs, processes and projects where the objective was to optimize operations and improve cost effectiveness. Working in a complex business across many locations required virtually engaging a range of leadership levels to educate and influence activities. My focus was always on finding practical and functional solutions and I developed a solid reputation for rapid problem resolution especially around a crisis or serious operational situations.Soon after 9/11/01, I was selected to implement our business continuity program. I quickly developed a passion for the work and obtained credentials as a Member of the Business Continuity Institute. I transitioned the program through two mergers before joining the Kavi Group to work alongside business leaders in Fortune 100 companies to help them strengthen the resiliency of their business. Through the years I obtained a stack of certifications in the healing arts including sound massage, energy balancing, numerology, crystal healing and more. I’ve also been practicing classical yoga based on Ayurvedic and Tantra philosophy since 2007 and recently developed a love for painting and playing the Native American flute. Learning is truly a lifelong love! Exploration inspires me to connect my learnings with what I know and what needs to be done. When you do what you love everything weaves together. When I am inspired, I cannot help but share my joy and that inspires others.
