Donna is a legal recruiter for Hire Counsel in Chicago, Illinois. She is, independently, an Illinois attorney focused on legislative and policy developments in the life and religious liberties arena through her firm, Adler Law, L.L.C. Donna began her legal career as a civil litigator at large firms in Chicago and has, in recent years, done immigration removal work and some criminal defense, though she now focuses, as noted, on particular points of legislation and policy. Donna is an independent scholar, as well, with a background in philosophy and theology. Her book PLATO'S TIMAEUS AND THE MISSING FOURTH GUEST: FINDING THE HARMONY OF THE SPHERES was released by Brill Academic Publishers in December of 2019. She is currently seeking publication of another finished volume and has several additional projects in process. She has much teaching and conference experience in her scholarly area of expertise.
