HR functions for the Academic side of the organization, compensation, hiring faculty, campus committees, reporting to a Sr. V.P. for Academic Affairs (which is a Provost at larger schools).

I hire over 100 adjuncts three times a year plus write faculty contracts for over 100 faculty members in addition to statistical analysis, wage surveys, manage the performance evaluation system for faculty, supervise 3 students, coordinate a variety of University committees, write minutes to meetings, prepare Board of Trustee documents, etc.

Directed a staff of 13 at a large State University with over 11,860 employees. Directed employee relations, staffing services, staff development and training, workers compensation, and classification/compensation for the main campus. I was over employee relations for 3 branch campuses and ran grievances. I developed a whole new pay plan for the University.

Managed 14 different pension plans involving both union and non-union employeees, paid over 14,000 pensioners, audited pension plans, produced personal benefit summaries for all employees, and worked on a variety of special projects.

Managed a variety of areas involving the performance evaluation system, employee relations, merit planning, recruitment/staffing functions, trained supervisors in management techniques, workers compensation, unemployment compensation, benefits, etc.
