• Researching discrepancies and analyzing the cause of these inconsistencies which will involve discussions with team members and docketing manager.• Troubleshooting errors, suggesting solutions and corrections as needed, which may include file review, mail review, and/or communication with department staff, including management, legal professionals, third party vendor and IT department personnel, as necessary in accordance with firm procedures/policies.• Generating and proofing all routine and special docket reports for quality as necessary.• Receives/reviews intellectual property mail, Federal Express packages and faxes for due dates (including correspondence to and from Patent and Trademark Office and foreign associate correspondence).• Revises and updates intellectual property timekeeper notice data base per attorney/secretary input.• Processes attorney/secretary intellectual property e-mails to docket.• Assigns deadlines and/or response times on intellectual property docket calendar.• Runs weekly reports of deadlines or response times and distributes to intellectual property attorneys.• Informs attorneys, secretaries, and projects assistants of any new docket procedures via e-mail.• Calculates dates and maintains the docket database.

• Review incoming/outgoing electronic and hard copy communications.• Calculate and enter dates in calendaring system.• Process attorney/secretary emails to Docket.• Scans mail, renames the file according to established naming conventions, and distributes mail to team via email.• Open, log and stamp checks.• Run conflict checks.
