• Provide and implement effective sales and marketing strategies targeting the luxury leisure and FIT for the Domestic & International Markets. • Collaborate to establish retail relationships with all Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, Ensemble, American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts and Travel Leaders Accounts.• Develope sales and co-op marketing plans with key accounts and be actively involved with industry trade shows and events.• Organize presentations and sales visits with key accounts worldwide and in conjunction with industry partners such as Preferred Hotels and other branding partners, Tourists Boards and local Chambers.• Coordinate familiarization Trips and Site inspections to the Salamander properties. • Manage and prepare budgets and annual action plans for leisure sales activities globally.• Maintain a strong visibility within markets and coordinate Leisure offers and events for the resort thru e-blast, advertising and internal marketing to the public, travel agents and consortia partners in conjunction with individual properties and corporate marketing.• Conduct Leisure Wholesale contracting between each property/resort by Salamander for US, Canada and European Markets.• Attend all Wholesale contracting events as directed on behalf of the Salamander portfolio. • Prepare Reports as instructed and requested by Executive Committee members.• Maintain data base and Delphi activity.• Assure effective utilization and adherence to standards relating to current systems at properties managed by Salamander. *Instrumental role in opening the Fishing Lodge, Cap Cana Dominican Republic and Sanctuary, Cap Cana Dominican Republic in 2011. Currently in pre-opening planning stages for Salamander Resort & Spa, Middleburg, VA. Responsibility's included managing Leisure Sales strategies and campaigns for the pre-opening phase of the business.
