- Responsible for global P&L and cash planning across all business segments and geographies- Perform strategic and financial analysis to inform all major decisions for the business including international expansion, capital structure, pricing strategy, margin targets, content/ marketing budgets and headcount growth- Responsible for setting external quarterly guidance targets

As Chief of Strategy Officer, I was a Direct Report to the EVP of Philanthropy for Venture Beyond Capital and CJH; the funding source of the Foundation. I lead the selection committee to select the Executive Director of the Foundation. I was a key player in the move from US into the UK and BD. Additionally, I was responsible for establishing governmental partnerships with the nations of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Also, in my post as Chief of Strategy Officer I established avenues for the foundation to grow funding sources outside the annual commitment of Venture Beyond and CJH.

I was responsible for the fundraising and marketing functions of the organization. I plan, manage, and oversee the broad and President's goals of the development office that support the organization. I held a seat on the President’s Cabinet; as a direct report. Working collaboratively with the Cabinet and supervising a development staff of three. Since my appointment in November I have secured a $100K grant.Was an instrumental part of the restructure and reorganization of the Foundation.

Managed and implemented a comprehensive Advancement program resulting in greater giving, participation, and cultivation for the future security of the School. Attracted talented staff and motivated team members to achieve and surpass goals. Restructured Advancement staff to better align with job duties and department needs resulting in: 181 percent growth in total dollars raised 280 percent increase in online giving 74 percent increase giving Executed and Managed $5MM Capital Campaign Paid pledges exceeded expectations allowing for the expansion of initial planned construction Phases I and II completed on time, on budget, with cash gifts Recruited and managed volunteer leadership to achieve goals Led Campaign marketing efforts by writing Campaign view book, parent communications, web page communications and naming opportunities

Responsibilities included cultivation and solicitation of major donor prospects, both through outright giving and planned giving; identification, cultivation and recruitment of trustee candidates; associate director of the $20 million Cal poly '2000' Campaign and the $10 million Bicentennial capital campaign, four times the largest in Cal poly's history; liaison with trustees and trustee committees, the internal management of development office and supervision of the public relations and alumni offices, oversight of an ongoing development strategy which resulted in a 350% increase in alumni giving. Additionally, evaluated and selected a computer application system; initiated a computerized planned giving operation; coordinated the annual athletic scholarship campaign and phone-a-thon effort; and prepared and presented foundation proposals. Served on the local United Way's Board of Directors.
