As a Senior Adjunct Professor, I have taught Health Care Administration courses for the past seventeen years. When the healthcare model changed to a corporate/business model, I integrated my many years of healthcare administration experience with more business-focused courses such as Health Insurance, Electronic Health Records, Medical Terminology, Business Communications, Medical Law, Medical Ethics and Global Health. Early in the transition to online courses, I became certified as an online instructor. In 2015, I completed my second certification as an online instructor. Presently, I hold the position of Senior Adjunct Professor in four certification programs: Billing & Coding, Medical Office Assistant, Administrative Medical Assisting and Healthcare Technology (HITech) in Westchester County, New York and now in Florida.
