The NASA Lucy Student Pipeline Accelerator and Competency Enabler (L'SPACE) NASA Proposal Writing & Evaluation Experience Academy (NPWEE) provides students the hands-on experience of writing, reviewing, and scoring proposals through the lens of a NASA reviewer. Students learn from NASA engineers and scientists about these career development and proposal writing processes, while working on virtual teams to develop a solution to a NASA need.

Program Manager and Aeronautical/Astronautical/Mechanical Engineer for a team of 11 students designing a mission concept of a lander on the Saturn moon, Enceladus, for the purpose of investigating the potential for life in the global subsurface ocean. NASA L'SPACE (Lucy Student Pipeline Accelerator and Competency Enabler) Mission Concept Academy provides students 12-weeks hands-on mission development skills training from NASA scientists and engineers. Students accepted into this program collaborate with other students to design an interdisciplinary mission-related team project.

• Utilized AutoCAD to design transport configurations of heavy loads (such as transformers and generators) to be moved via rail.• Generated bids for equipment rail transport based on load dimensions, weight, origin and destination sites, and special railcar requirements.• Visited Port of Houston to survey and observe transformers being loaded from vessel to railcar.
