As a Benefits Specialist II at Torch Technologies, Inc., I leverage my MS in Human Resources Management and Services and my BS in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing to design and administer employee benefits programs that align with the company's mission and values. I have over 5 years of experience in human resources, starting as an HR Specialist and progressing to an HR Generalist II before becoming a Benefits Specialist II in 2022. I have developed and implemented multiple benefits policies and procedures, such as health and wellness, retirement, education, and employee assistance, that enhance the employee experience and retention. I have also partnered with various internal and external stakeholders, from day 1 new hires to the C-suite, vendors, brokers, and consultants, to ensure compliance, communication, coordination of Torch's benefits and training initiatives. Some of my core competencies include employee benefits, candidate experience, human resources, and communication skills.
