System Administration• Manages inventory of assets and resources, handling provisioning and decommissioning.• Works with the JIRA ticketing system for issue tracking and resolution.• Administers users, groups, and entities on the infrastructure using FreeIPA.• Setup OS repositories and manages SSH keys for remote server access and administration.• Implements Ansible, Foreman, cron jobs, and bash scripting for configuration management and task automation, including server patching and user management.• Performs and maintains data backups for redundancy and compliance purposes using Bacula and other tools.• Participates in SCRUM meetings and assists colleagues in resolving technical issues.• Creates and maintains technical documentation and company knowledge base.Server / Container Deployment & Management• Executes manual and automated deployment of RedHat & CentOS servers using Terraform and Kickstart.• Utilizes VMware's vSphere to efficiently manage enterprise infrastructure.• Deploys LAMP stack web servers & collaborates with developers on code management and deployment via Git.• Deploys Wordpress containers.• Maintains scripts and files in Gitlab repositories.• Configures and deploys WordPress containers.• Setup & manages file servers, including FTP and NFS servers, and maintains file/directory permissions & access.Networking & Security• Configures DHCP, DNS, and ensured network connectivity on servers.• Configures & manages SELinux policies, firewalls, and performs system hardening for enhanced server security.• Establishes log aggregation with Graylog to centrally collect and analyze logs from servers.• Utilizes troubleshooting methodologies with internal and external resources to investigate and resolve issues.• Installs and configures Nagios and CheckMK remotely to monitor and ensure optimal performance of system resources• Perform Openscap scans on servers and remediate issues based upon the STIG profile utilized.

• Teaches Linux & AWS curriculum engaging diverse, adult learners, including after-class sessions, for Red Hat & AWS certifications.• Explains technical concepts of Linux, networking, security, Python & AWS to learners in a non-technical manner.• Assist learners with hands-on experience in cloud deployment, simulating real-world cloud architecture & solutions.• Handles administrative responsibilities for cohorts• Assists Infrastructure Director with curriculum & program-related tasks.
