Design of experiments and fixtures to determine customer usage profiles of electronic products including notebooks and tablets. Development and documentation of reliability tests and grades to simulate life- time customer behavior, for both abusive and non- abusive scenarios.Work with TDC to ensure reliability tests are executed as designed and there is no discrepancy from lab to lab. Design and execution of tests for determining root cause of customer field failures and documentation of results for customer experience team's analysis.Design and analysis of test systems for mechanical testing of electronic equipment.

Design of low pressure injection over-mold solution for plastic parts including nozzle, mold, fixture, and controls system. Development of a novel SWIR imaging system using compressive sensing. Opto-mechanical design and analysis, including design of manufacturing processes, fixtures, and software for alignment of complex optical systems. Data acquisition, signal processing, compressive sensing, image processing, and algorithm development in Matlab and implementation in C++. Test and characterization of optical equipment, and analysis and characterization of diode performance.

Design and analysis of shape recognition algorithm using complex Fourier analysis. Improved recovery times through exploitation of shape's inherent sparsity in Fourier domain.

I worked in a hard tissue biomechanics laboratory where I developed novel cutting tools and methods to obtain micro-compression samples of human bone that met ASTM standards, performed micro-compression test, and developed a program using Matlab to automatically analyze the material performance, including Modulus of Elasticity, yield strength, and ultimate strength from compression test data.I also worked in a dynamic systems and control laboratory where I determined the viscoelastic response of closed-cell foams for the Army Research Office. In this project I designed a test system to determine the response of the viscoelastic foams and helped create a bond graph model of the system to predict the materials behavior when loaded by a step response. This worked included measurement and instrumentation and controls design utilizing LabView.
