As a forensic case manager at ACC Community Connections, I have over 25 years of experience working with individuals with mental health issues who have been involved with the criminal justice system. I have a Dual Track Crisis/CCS certification, which enables me to provide crisis intervention and comprehensive community services to clients with complex needs.I work with clients who have been found not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect (NGI), who are undergoing outpatient competency restoration (OCRP), or who are voluntarily participating in the Opening Avenues to Reentry Success (OARS) program. I collaborate with various stakeholders, such as community providers, DHS forensic specialists, Department of Corrections, county social workers, and home care staff, to ensure effective coordination of care and support. I also conduct assessments, create reports, and testify in court when needed. My mission is to empower my clients to develop meaningful goals and improve their quality of life.
