Responsible for researching, redeeming and reporting on all warranty remedies available to SWA related to the repair of any aircraft/airframe structure, engine, system or component. Review manufacturer's Service Bulletins/Letters for airframe and components for available warranty remedies.Prepared and filed claims for other Service bulletins and other related manufacturer's documents. Tracked mis-shipments, lost units, and ensured replacements/reimbursement of lost SWA equipment.Review and approve all quotes for warranty repairs and research any non-warranty items.Maintain warranty databases and distribute for Department reporting.Research and resolved part number and serial number discrepancies. Communicate warranty activity, field questions, supply and support M&E groups system wide.Monitor overdue warranty orders contacting Suppliers for status and any discrepancies.Participate in meetings and negotiations with Suppliers. Responsible for ensuring quotes received for warranty repairs are within contractual requirements.Coordinate invoicing with Accounts Payable.Determined parts to be scrapped or repaired coordinating with Material Specialists, Repair and Inventory to ensure appropriate disposition.
