Provide ongoing support for first, second and third year teachers in all aspects of teaching including lesson planning and implementation, classroom management, reflection, data analysis, assessments, personal and professional growth. Designed, launched, and managed data collection for over 700 beginning teachers. Advocated at school, district and regional levels for more effective support for beginning teachers.

Provide training to school based testing coordinators to administer all state mandated tests according to NCDPI guidelines; order, inventory, distribute, collect, destroy all state mandated testing materials; scan, report, manage, audit, upload data gathered from state testing; maintain security of testing materials and confidentiality of student data. Provide district- and school-based analysis of test results. Manage the school district process for the NC Report Card. Collaborate with multiple district level departments to launch NC Final Exams as well as district-wide online testing in the inaugural year in 54 schools.

Design and teach lesson plans for 5 classes of up to 30 students; build relationships with students with special attention to at-risk or high-needs students to promote self-confidence and academic success. Collaborate with other math teachers in the school and district to design and implement lessons, strategies and policies to eliminate the achievement gap. Introduce new technology that incorporates group work and problem solving skills relevant to students entering the 21st century workforce. Collaborate with students, parents, guardians, families, administration, school support personnel and other teachers to promote student academic success and personal growth.Subject taught: Math 7, PreAlgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2
