Donna leveraged the skill sets, experiences and personalities of mAccounting’ team to meet client needs: designing a work and team plan centered around client needs. Donna’s background as an advertising agency media buyer, where she worked with a variety of B2B and retail clients, set her up to be an extremely successful sales manager and, eventually, Director of Sales for Emmis Communications’ Indianapolis radio division. She managed internal staff and external partners and found her passion for developing others’ talents.Her expertise in projecting revenue, pricing and inventory management allowed her to then consult with clients in the real estate, print and radio industries, providing DiSC, sales and management training. Her decisive problem solving approach allowed her to anticipate situations before they become problems, using creative problem solving skills.Donna is passionate about bringing out the leader in everyone. This passion translates to the community through volunteering. Donna was a Board member with Training, Inc. for years; with her in-laws, she was given their Outstanding Volunteer Family Award. Donna served on the marketing committee for Lacy Leadership Association and has advised WFYI on various events. She has also worked with Paws and Think's Youth-Canine program that pairs at-risk youth with shelter dogs for a weeklong training program. She was named Director of Radio Sales of the Year by American Women in Radio and Television, as well as being named Top Sales Manager by McGavren Guild, where she was among only 5 chosen from sales managers at over 300 radio stations nationwide. Donna graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Telecommunications with minors in Marketing and Speech. Donna lives in Indianapolis with her husband and they have two grown children.
