Golden Seeds is a nationwide angel network that invests in businesses having either a woman founder and/or a woman in a C-Level position with significant equity ownership. We have over 180 accredited investor members (both female and male), are headquartered in New York, and have forums in Boston, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Since our founding 6 years ago, Golden Seeds has become a “go to” firm for women entrepreneurs seeking capital. As such we have screened over 1,500 companies and invested nearly $50 million in 55 of these. Investing only where we have identifiable in-depth expertise, we have made investments in consumer products, software, technology, and medical technology. Given the lead role we tend to take, Golden Seeds members hold board seats on many of our investments. The principals of Golden Seeds also operate a fund that invests only in companies that garner the greatest member interest and meet strict investment criteria.
