I am currently specialising in working with Service User’s who are Homeless and experiencing Mental ill Health.Porchlight is a charity that helps people in Kent who have nowhere to go and no-one to turn to. Some are homeless and need our help to escape the streets and rebuild their lives. Others are struggling to cope with different pressures in their life and need our support to keep on track. We work with around 5,000 people each year, helping them with homelessness, housing, education and employment, and their health and wellbeing. This help includes: - Preventing people from becoming homeless by supporting them before problems spiral out of control- Providing housing, education, employability and personal development support to the most vulnerable and isolated people in our communities- Challenging negative attitudes towards people who are homeless, living with mental ill health or living in povertyUltimately, we're striving for a fairer society where vulnerable people find stability, the most excluded are included, and where homelessness and poverty are things of the past.
