I have created works on paper for the past 30 years, but have not utilized a paint brush since I discovered that I could create art work on my computer. The computer has become the tools of my medium. Creating a montage from images I have collected over the years, I then assemble them in Photoshop creating a college which I, then turn into a contour line drawings, delineating the various color areas. I, in turn work on a tracing paper overlay in Corel Painter, a raster-image computer program where I can place each individual dot by clicking on my mouse. Out if an array of colors my pointillist pieces come to life helping me to construct through the use of these programs, a means of creating a drama consisting of reflections of women's inner stories. While working, I employ elements of collage in my paintings to conjure up images created from a mixture of fantasy, mood and symbolism, blended together in a variety of ways to create my own world. I am drawn to the paintings of the pre-Raphaelite painters and their sensuous depiction of women from mythology. Through my art work I seek to open the doors and allow the viewer to enter into a deeper level where wisdom and metaphor can reveal a vast new world beyond the surface. I seek not only to render the interaction of colors as I create images but explore elements of the female psyche. Incorporating images of classic women with objects of nature, I try to illustrate through my paintings their innate nobleness, revealing the instinctive nature that resides within them.

Over the past year, I have been working as a contact tracer/case investigator for New York State Contact Tracing Initiative. During this time, I've developed my ability to think critically and interact positively with clients. When making calls to those who may have been in contact with someone carrying or in contact with this disease, I am able to maintain a friendly tone to help convey my support for them as well as gain their willingness in participating in interviews. I have also become experienced in challenging opposition while taking a positive stance. Through my work with the Initiative I developed an expertise in my ability to providing callers with the opportunity to sort through information and make informed decision.as well as offering guidance on recommended infection prevention and control practices at a home or non-home residential.

I am responsible for reaching out to people (contacts) who have been exposed to COVID-19 and providing health education and guidance to interrupt ongoing disease transmission. . While creating a dialogue with contacts, guided by standard protocols, I strive to obtain any symptom history and other relevant health information, provide instructions for self-quarantine, and make appropriate referrals to testing, clinical services, and other essential support services. I am able to prioritization, prompt action, and attention to detail in documentation and data management as multiple investigations will be conducted simultaneously. as well as following all designated scripts and comply with policies and procedures provided by the health department regarding confidentiality and data security for the handling of sensitive client information and protected health information.

I am responsible for the daily operation of the breast cancer helpline which include: scheduling, training and mentoring volunteers in all aspects of helpline procedure maintaining and updating research material; community outreach and promotion

My ability to develop and oversee support service programs are solid and backed by 16 years In the support service arena. The focus of my position was in managing the helpline: overseeing the daily maintenance of the helpline, helping volunteers gain the skills and knowledge needed for them to connect with women with cancer. I was responsible for initiating programs which gave volunteers the opportunity to meet with professionals in the cancer field, providing them with the insight, information, resources and skills to effectively give assistance to helpline callers.
