Bored Room Productions, formerly known as Travelers Insurance Productions, is a collective of young New Orleans-based filmmakers who recognize the importance of the collaborative spirit in filmmaking. We are driven by several principals in our creation of film. Our strength is finding the beauty in stories by ensuring that musicality and honesty shine through. We want to expose stories that have not been given an honest representation, perhaps not even socially talked about. We have a mission to tell your story, whatever it may be. At Bored Room Productions we strive to envision stories and interpret the world around us in an artful way. As a collective of filmmakers we possess divergent perspectives and varying talents; we each interpret the world in a different way. Through each lens on our team, we intellectually meld into a pool of ideas and visions that drive our films. We are writers, cinematographers, entrepreneurs, & editors. Most importantly, we are thinkers with a conscience to tell the stories that move us—these range thematically from mental illness and social anxieties, to love and hurt, to the flawed family structure—taking form in gut-wrenching dramas and poignant, relatable comedies, often hovering the fine line between the two.
