Since joining Wetherspoon as an Associate I have progressed and am now a Grade 3 shift manager.I have had experience of staff recruitment, motivation, discipline, and staff rotas. I also have experience of stock control and ordering, cellar management, cash management, back of house functions and pub promotion.My main acheivements since joining Wetherspoon is to achieve my personal licence (March 2016) and was a key member of the small management team responsible for the most successful new open, The Thomas Waghorn.My responsibilities for this were for staff recruitment, training and motivation, promotion of the pub within the local area, licensing procedures, implementation of standard operating procedures, and ensuring the successful operation of the pub from day one.I have also been responsible for a number of charity fund raising events, including a sponsored bike ride from Brighton to Rochester, taking part in the Prudential Ride London, the London Duathlon and a charity night culminating in me taking a baked bean bath.
