• Manages company’s accounting and financial activities. • Manages all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable (including but not limited to end to end processing, capitalization, expense reporting), payroll, purchasing (direct and indirect), bank reconciliation and reporting • Manages payroll via 3rd party payroll processor • Manage customer and vendor relationships• Set up Policies and Procedures for new Facilities• Set up New Entities• Manages Accounting, Shipping/Receiving and Custodial Staff• Maintain external relationships with Banking, Auditors, Insurance Reps and various contractors• Ensures compliance with statutory payroll and property tax reporting. • Prepares and presents financial statements and related reports in a timely manner including but not limited to balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow reports, budgets, and cost and variance analysis. • Multiple dashboard and report preparation monthly to meet needs of management and JV partners • Directs budget preparation, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification for proposed budgets. • Coordinates annual independent audit and preparation of annual tax documents. • Inventory management, review, reconciliation and analysis of cost • Manages ERP system implementation and ongoing data management • Assists with company strategic planning. • Assists with special projects as required. • Successfully built EnviroFlight Financial Policies and Procedures from the ground up• Manages Fixed Assets and Capital Project Financial Management Tracking• Works closely with all departments internally and externally with the Parent Company• Provide reporting upon demand; long range and short range, etc.• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Directs and coordinates the development and tracking of the Station’s $80M Annual O&M budget and $25M Annual Capital Budgets to support Station management in ensuring annual budget and production cost goalsCollect data and conducts complex analyses, creates reports, draws inferences, and makes recommendations. Serves as a resource to EKPC and member system by performing analytical work that is broad in nature for a broad range of customers.Convey business information and intelligence to middle and senior management via reports, presentations, and other forms of interaction.Conducts monthly budget variance AnalysisResponds to wide range of data requests both internal and externalTracks Planned Outage Project and Non-Base Project costs and provides variance reporting.Performs financial analysis for Capital and large Maintenance projects.Provides support to Station managements’ assessment of risks and impacts of all projects.Develops and maintains numerous spreadsheets and databases relative to aiding station management in ensuring the production of low cost, reliable electrical energy.Serves a leader on various station and EKPC in-house project teams.Analyzes and monitors costs, labor cost, change order, Invoices, PO’s in order to provide recommendations and support for improved cost tracking and controls.Analysis of overall cash flow to outside contractors.Performs project analysis to monitor en report on project performance.Assist with development of controls in the areas of budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, etc. to monitor capital and operating cost.Research and analysis to collect process and analyze information as it relates to operating and capital for future budgeting.Forecast and monitor future costs relative to ROI on capital and O&M.Performs other duties as assigned.

•Responsible for Income Tax Accounting and Planning including current and deferred income tax positions.•Review Company’s US federal, State and Local tax returns.•Develop tax policies, procedures and controls to comply with tax laws and company assets.•Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local tax requirements for all levels of tax.•Preparations of all other business tax payments and filings (real and personal property, franchise tax, etc.)•Prepare high volume monthly, quarterly, semi-yearly and yearly sales and use tax for multiple corporations in over 26 states with filings in over 100 locations.•Reviews quarterly income tax provisions and estimates.•Manages the data gathering and computes the US FAS 109 income tax accounting for company’s financial statements.•Coordinates tax strategies for federal, state and local tax filings. •Manages all US Federal, State, and Local tax audits, correspondence, protest, and apportionment.•Negotiates proposed adjustments and resolution of tax audits with appropriate tax authorities. •Process 1099’s for Accounts Payable.•Oversees and Manages outsourced tax compliance.•Oversees and Manages Business Registrations/qualifications.•Oversees and Manages Fixed Asset management.•Manage special projects – FIN 48, etc.•Tax Research for all corporate activities.
