With more than 10 years of experience serving, mentoring, supporting, and leading people in projectmanagement, instructor, and consultant capacities, I am a relationship-focused people, project, and customer service manager dedicated to building partnerships, communities, and synergies wherever I go.For the majority of my career, I focused my connection-building superpowers on the classroom. As professor and instructor at City University of New York, Ohio University, Lorain County Community College, and other institutions of higher learning, I fostered collaboration, inclusion, and teamwork among diverse learners. My efforts led students to achieve learning outcomes and departments to attain quality objectives. As a result of my success–and because of my passion for connection–I quickly beganbalancing instructional and leadership/project management roles. In my current role at Lorain County Community College, I serve as the Program Coordinator for the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel Humanities to Career Program. At LCCC I also helped found the Writing Center and relaunch the in-house literary journal. Previously, I chaired the English Department at YDE High School in Brooklyn and served as founding English Faculty for the Princeton International School for Mathematics and Science (PRISMS).Along the way, I had the opportunity to live out a lifelong dream by providing Customer Support for Premium Seating with the Cleveland Guardians. As a lifelong fan of both the sport and the team, I was excited to combine my passion for relationship building and baseball. This experience–along with my journey through academia and project management–helped me to identify that my strengths, passions, and career aspirations lie in the areas of relationship-building, partnerships, and project management–and not necessarily within education.I am excited to take the next step toward my dreams and am open to opportunities.
