As a serial entrepreneur, I have had Executive level, CEO or Group Level leadership positions in large multi-national public healthcare corporations and then raising capital for and funding start ups that change clinical practice. I have orchestrated or directly negotiated several exits, some of which were among the 10 Diagnostics companies I have led or have been part of the Exec team.Building on my personal background in nursing, hospital administration and large physician group management in acute care, I am passionate about working with the leadership clinicians in the field to improve patient access and the quality and management of patient care while reducing overall health costs.Having been appointed by the Governor of Virginia and serving for 9 years on the Va BioTech Research Park and VCU University boards to establish a Life Science Science Community and ecosystem, we have enjoyed great strides since then.I have been reappointed for another 3 years on the State Biotechnology Research Authority and continue to focus on advancing the growth of Clinical business in Va.
