Encourage and assist high school special education students to be successful in academic, social and emotional areas during school. Support teachers and advocate for students.

Conducting reference/background and credential checks on all potential employees; creating and maintaining all employee files: pay clock and payroll, employee benefits, accounts receivable/payable and liabilities; managing resident trust funds; maintaining confidential business files; managing calls from vendors and resident family members; coordinating in-service presentations for employees; attending and participating in tri-weekly Management Team Meetings; and supporting all department heads, as well as being available for all employees and residents as needed.

Manage the office of a general contractor. Research, prepare and bid prospective new construction, both commercial and residential. Responsible for accounting and financial records of all funds, including reconciling bank statements and invoices, bond payments, drafting checks, accounts payable, accounts receivable. Maintaining health insurance, and worker's compensation coverage. Prepares all deposits and withdrawals. Prepares all accounting reports. Prepares all payroll. Balances all receipts and tax collections monthly.

Worked as a member of a treatment team, providing Case Management to children/adolescents, families/caretakers, who participated in community based services through the mental health center as well as the alternative school on the grounds of the state hospital. Provided support, crisis intervention, skill building, advocacy and assistance with special education and social skills to students in Miami County. Also facilitated and supervised staff and students who were enrolled in the summer "Challenger" program, which was a day camp for SED children.

Assisted SED adults with skills and resources to become gainfully employed and/or return to school.

Facilitated education for youth with behavior disorders. Tutored, assisted with both academic and daily living skills, as well as appropriate social interaction. Certified MANDT, First Aid and CPR.
