Admiral Crisp is the National Vice Chair, Vivian’s Outreach to Women managing yearly awards to homeless women veterans shelters nation-wide for the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She volunteers her time supporting the local community through DAR Virginia State Chair American Indians Committee supporting American Indian youth through work for Bacone College in Oklahoma, Chemawa Indian School in Oregon, scholarships for American Indian youth and collaboration with Virginia Tribes. As DAR Virginia State Vice Chair Leadership Development, she assists 123 non-profit chapter regents (CEOs) in the leadership training of over 9,000 women. She is especially proud of the results: total renovation and refurbishment of Vetshouse Inc in Virginia Beach VA. a homeless women veterans shelter, leading a fund drive which resulted in 2,688 meals for the community through the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, and current efforts to provide PPE to the Navajo Nation, hospice centers, military units, and veterans during the pandemic. Donna Crisp is a leader in human resources, education, training, installation and financial management with over 35 years in the U.S. Navy and Department of Defense retiring at the rank of two star in 2010. Rear Admiral Crisp led diverse organizations of up to 2,000 personnel with financial responsibilities for $2.2 billion dollar budgets. She built coalitions for the Department of Defense, other federal agencies, state, and foreign governments. She was a Trustee for Bacone College in 2016-2019 and remains engaged in supporting their successful transition to a tribal college. She is a founding member of The Institute for Performance Improvement, a consultant for Hale Associates and holds credentials/certifications in Secondary Education, TotalSDI: Strength-Based Assessments, Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, Certified Performance Technologist, and Certified Assessment and Credentialing Professional. Admiral Crisp takes complex problems and creates meaningful, easy to understand solutions and thrives on delivering the results that make a difference.
