Responsible for planning, managing and executing the design, construction, commissioning and validation of new manufacturing facility, including operational readiness.

Manage the daily operation of approximately 120,000 sf of laboratory and office space at the Alexandria Center for Life Sciences- NYC. Oversee the entire maintenance program which entails preventative and corrective maintenance work orders, spare parts management, pest control management, and housekeeping. Ensure site compliance with HSE regulations, company policies and applicable standards. Other responsibilities include managing the office and lab service functions, building management system, capital project support, departmental budgets preparation and landlord/tenant relations. Current site transition lead for facilities management outsourcing project.

Managed the engineering department quality compliance functions, investigations, corrective actions, change controls, SOP's, technical training. During site shutdown, member of equipment transfer and decommissioning teams.2000-2005 Maintenance Engineer Supervised maintenance team supporting drug product manufacturing and product process development. Developed and delivered training, scheduled and planned preventive and corrective maintenance for dry/wet granulation equipment, tablet presses, tray driers, material handling equipment, and coating pans. Investigate equipment failures and process deviations, participated in pre-approval inspections and GMP inspections/audits.

Managed and supervised bulk fermentation facility utility systems, including WFI, CIP, CS, HVAC, etc. Oversaw minor capital projects, participated in pre-approval inspections and audits for facilty licensing, validation protocol executions, managed and implemented process and equipment changes.
