Responsible for regulatory monitoring of health care facilities for State of Nevada. Presenter to Legislative council and boards. Liason to Nevada Hospital Association, Skilled Nursing Advisory Council, Assisted Living Advisory Council, Adult Day Care Advisory Council and Homes for Individual Residential Care Advisory Council. Member of SIRT a multi-agency task force charged with facilitating communication between entities. Member of Health Division Quality Improvment Marketing Team. Conducts training seminars for staff on healthcare regulation issues, inform them of latest techniques for provision of services, instructs new surveyors on duties, responsibilities, and authority. Educator to Administrators and Directors of health facilties on regulatory complaince and change. Former State Complaint Coordinator and investigator; responsible for triage, tracking and compliance reviews.

Las Vegas, Nevada Area

Was responsible for operational budget development and administration. Participated in weekly review of accounts payable and receivable, along with collections of aging accounts. Software which was used included; People Soft, Employee Management Systems, and Micro Soft Office Professional Suite. Utilized Outlook as a communication tool to schedule meetings and reminders for myself and directors. As Executive Director represented my company at unemployment and guardian hearings. Organized a 1940s themed USO event which gained regional television coverage and raised funds to support care packages to active duty service personnel in the Middle East. As part of this program created an award winning recognition program for community Veterans, which was adopted regionally by our Atria facilities.

Western And Florida Divisions

As Executive Director Pro tem was a member of the Western Division Task Force Team, charged with going into facilities in transition. These facilities were without Directors and often several leadership positions would be open. Upon beginning assignments would conduct a 24 hour shift review of services and care. Was responsible for determining conditions then compare them to corporate and regulatory standards. Duties included filling open positions, conducting orientation and training, scheduling staff and developing customer focused teams. Processed payroll, accounts payable and receivable and maintained personnel files. Responsible for development of annual operational budget.
