I am a life-long learner and authentic leader that believes that challenges can be opportunities, that failures can be valued lessons, and kindness can change the world. I value service and serving others. In my current role, I coordinate signature programming that has included multiple Medals Ceremonies (1995-2001); Mark Luchinsky Memorial Lectures (1997-Present); Schreyer Honors Orientation Programming (1996-Present); Founders Day Celebrations (1997-Present) and a wide-range of out-of-classroom programming initiatives. I also oversee and manage the Society of Distinguished Alumni Mentoring Program in collaboration with Society of Distinguished Alumni President and Penn State Alumni Association colleagues since 2001. Served as Founding Coordinator of the Schreyer Honors College Scholar Alumni Society Board in 2000. Created and managed College's first Scholar Advancement Team (known today as Scholar Ambassadors). In 2015, coordinated programming initiatives to support and promote Schreyer Honors College "Shaping the Future Summit: The Power of Money" under the leadership of Dean Brady. The year-long series of 32 events culminated with keynote speaker Earvin "Magic" Johnson speaking to capacity audience in Eisenhower Auditorium. The Summit engaged University Partners, undergraduates, Schreyer Scholars, alumni, faculty, staff and the local community in conversations about the "Power of Money." In 2001, oversaw creation and installation of Schreyer Honors College Walk-of-Honor in the Atherton Hall Courtyard when administrative offices relocated to Atherton Hall from Willard Building. Initiated and organized "Walk, Roll N' Run" United Way Fundraiser representing the Office of Undergraduate Education. Event engaged faculty, staff, students, and local community. Co-organizer of Penn State University's inaugural "Hoops for Hope" Wheelchair Basketball game that engaged Penn State Nittany Lion Men's Basketball Team with Pittsburgh Steelwheelers as a United Way Fundraiser.
