In my role as an Essential Skills Numeracy Tutor on an employment project, I focus on building the skills and confidence of our learners in numeracy and employability skills, spanning various vocations. I have the privilege of working with a diverse group of individuals, guiding them in developing essential numerical abilities and the crucial skills required for success in the workplace.I take on the responsibility of crafting customised training programs that seamlessly integrated numeracy and employability skills pertinent to their chosen career paths. These programs were intentionally designed to empower our learners, boost their self-assurance, and prepare them effectively for employment in a wide array of industries.

In my previous role as a Business and Management Tutor, my primary responsibilities included staying current with the latest management procedures, CMI (Chartered Management Institute) standards, ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) qualifications, and business trends. This involved continuous professional development to ensure I could provide up-to-date and relevant instruction.I often traveled to deliver workshops, working directly with cohorts and individual managers from various industries. These workshops covered a range of topics related to business and management, including leadership, strategy, and organizational development.My role was not only about imparting knowledge but also about helping professionals apply these principles to their specific roles. This experience allowed me to make a direct impact on the development and growth of managers and businesses, contributing to their success in a constantly evolving corporate landscape.

In my previous role as a tutor in advanced teacher training, I delivered a diverse range of subjects, including the IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) qualification, Assessors Award, and Learning and Development. My role was multifaceted and involved accommodating a wide variety of subject knowledge and skills.I facilitated training sessions for educators and professionals looking to enhance their teaching and assessment skills. This role required a deep understanding of educational practices, assessment methodologies, and quality assurance standards. It involved teaching subjects as varied as curriculum design, assessment techniques, and professional development.

In my previous role as an STLS (Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) Assessor, I had the opportunity to work with various agencies and projects to deliver the Teaching Assistant qualification. My responsibilities included assessing and evaluating candidates to ensure they met the required standards.I collaborated with multiple agencies, such as schools, educational institutions, job centres and community organisations, to deliver the qualification program. I worked closely with candidates, guiding them through the learning process, assessing their performance, and providing feedback to help them meet the qualification criteria.

In my previous role as a Language and Play Family Learning Tutor, I was responsible for organizing and delivering sessions that focused on literacy and numeracy, spanning from babies to secondary school pupils. My role involved creating a supportive and interactive learning environment for families.I developed age-appropriate learning materials and activities, tailoring them to suit different skill levels. For the youngest learners, I facilitated play-based activities that laid the foundation for language and number awareness. As for primary and secondary school pupils, I designed lessons that aligned with the school curriculum to enhance their literacy and numeracy skills.
