I first got into nursing because I wanted to help people. More than 20 years later, I’m still helping people, though my job title has changed. I’ve been nurse, a manager, an educator, a physician liaison, nurse manager of operations and now director for telehealth. In each of these roles, my passion has been to make a difference. When I hear that I’ve helped someone better understand a process, improve a relationship, expand customer service levels, impact change and process improvements, that’s when my job is most rewarding. Because I’ve been a nurse and a leader, and because I’ve worked in the clinical setting for years, I know how to develop clinical programs, improve processes, manage opportunities, and put in place in place tools and resources to help people succeed—and, ultimately, to improve patient outcomes. I’m passionate about patient care. I am very motivated to help my team succeed in our shared goals to serve patients, physicians, staff, and our larger community. I’m not afraid of a challenge. The toughest assignments lead to the biggest wins—and remind me why I do what I do.Specialties: ► Development of the clinical areas' strategic and operational plans ►Telehealth project management ► Serve as a change agent to facilitate communication and transition that supports the mission of the organization. ► Ensure compliance with clinical patient care standards and established policies and procedures ► Oversee various personnel actions ► Manage department budget ► Facilitating the development and process improvements of services and programs► Gaining information about business goals to provide smart solutions► Building relationships with community service providers and clinical service units► Developing, implementing, and overseeing competency programs► Managing educational activities for physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff► Delivering top-tier customer service ► Identifying and resolving standard contractual concerns
