Manage the Induction support system for all new teachers through the credential clearing process for Clovis Unified. Tracks new teacher credentialing, organize professional development and is solely responsible for applying for clear credentials with the California Teacher Commission for the teachers completing our program. This is a large task as we hire over 200 teachers each year.Work diligently to complete tasks and find solutions when faced with a problem or challenge. If I don't know something, or need more information to complete a task, I am not afraid to ask for assistance and will find the correct resources I needs to ensure the task is completed above expectation. Work closely with County and California State Commissions to ensure our new teacher’s credentials are current and meet State guidelines. Without close attention to detail, we could have opened classrooms without a qualified teacher or lose our accreditation with the State Teaching Commission. I understand this role is important to support many people. I have increased the effectiveness and efficiency of our program process. Creative solutions are truly appreciated by our entire team.I work closely with our employees, many agencies and with our community stakeholders. I collaborates well with our teacher mentoring staff to ensure our team has the information they need to support teachers and their students for success. I frequently cover for other staff members when there is a need and will do whatever is possible to help the team. Service minded and strive to create a welcoming and friendly environment in our program. Always a positive role model to support administrators, teachers, and our community.
