Indigenous Landcare Coordingator• Ensuring that Caring for Our Country ‘Protecting and enhancing native vegetation and regeneration on BundyBunna land’ project runs to schedule and meets the milestone set out in the project proposal.• Coordinating and liaising with stakeholders on Karara Bore monitoring, Pasture Cropping and Shrubs for Emissions Reduction and Carbon Storage projects• Liaise with BundyBunna Aboriginal Corporation members and other stakeholders to ensure that fencing of remnant vegetation and training of Indigenous land managers is undertaken.• Assist BundyBunna youth to attain their Certificate II in Conservation Land Management• Develop BunbyBunna property vegetation management plan• Use of GIS to map fencing and revegetation works• Undertake seed collection, weed and pest management and seedling establish for revegetation on-site.• Organise and run workshops and bus tours.• Undertake monitoring and evaluation to meet project goals and reporting to MIG and Australian Government.NRM Officer• Undertake site assessments for pre-funding and audit for funding payouts of NACC incentive projects on strategic revegetation, farm forestry, perennial pastures and fodder shrubs; ;• Prepare and sign-off on contracts including site maps, site management plans, species lists monitoring and photo-points for NACC Incentives and report on these activities; • Liaise with other government department staff, scientists, contractors, schools, community members and groups, other Natural Resource Management (NRM) Officers, project managers, landholders, indigenous groups and MIG members to promote NRM and NACC milestones;• Work with community to develop and implement Coastcare and Dune Rehabilitation projects;• Organise workshops, field days and educational programs for ‘Weeds of National Significance’ project, Wind Erosion and Coastal Rehabilitation.
