As a PRM I market the ER and Behavioral Health Departments of Saint Francis Hospital. I work with EMS crews, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent facilities and home health agencies to determine how Saint Francis can better serve their patients. As a PRM I schedule educational opportunities, conferences, vendor events, etc to bring the health care industry to Saint Francis so that we can work together to make our community a healthier place to live. I am also on the Board of Directors for the Professional Network on Aging, the Livable Community group and work with the City of Memphis to bring a better awareness of the needs of our seniors. My goal and mission is to help all Seniors have the greatest quality of life available to them by educating them, helping clear the way for better services for them and serving as an Advocate.

Managed all claims for quality assurance and compliance. Prepared reports for claim status, developed procedures and protocols for submitting run tickets and claims for processing. Prepared and taught documentation to meet Medicare standards, to document patient care appropriately and to ensure that all patient care was being performed at the highest level. Secured accurate patient assessment of candidates needing non-emergency transport to dialysis, wound care, rehab, etc. Also maintained and secured Physician Certification Statement for these transports, worked with insurance companies to get authorization numbers when appropriate. Worked open balance claims to determine viability and re-filing with insurance companies. Developed contacts at insurance companies which facilitated a smoother processing of open claims. Assisted patients/families regarding billing questions and worked to achieve a mutual satisfaction regarding amounts owed.
