Peoplesoft Hcm Functional Lead & Sr ConsultantOracle Jan 2010 - Feb 2011Austin, Texas, UsSubcontracted to Oracle while working as an Independent PeopleSoft consultant at the University of Kansas. Functional Lead – Led the PeopleSoft 7.6 to 9.1 HCM Oracle lab upgrade and re-implementation for various modules including Position Management and Commitment Accounting, along with Tenure Tracking and Contract Pay for the “Oracle lab” portion of the project. Conducted demos, created and/or converted configuration tables and employee data with data mapping. Created conversion templates, validated conversions, created baseline test scripts and testing. Gathered requirements for customizations and wrote the applicable functional design documents. Worked with an off-shore technical team for development, along with system testing of all of these pieces. The university PeopleSoft 9.1 HCM upgraded system was fully functional with complete configurations and conversions, along with the majority of the customizations at the end of this phase. Functional Lead – Led the PeopleSoft 7.6 to 9.1 HCM fit/gap for the various HR modules, along with Position Management, Compensation, Profile Management, eProfile, Manager and Employee Self Service, Commitment Accounting, Base Benefits, and Benefits Administration. Worked with Oracle project management on project planning tasks prior to going onsite for the fit/gap. Worked with Oracle on the final scope document, in preparation for the next lab upgrade and re-implementation phase. -
