- Ensure a distinctive graduate curriculum and maintain an engaging and supportive online learning environment, leading to student success in learning, completion, and placement rates. - Integrate best practices for distance education into the graduate academic processes of the school and appropriate technical infrastructure. This role required the establishment and pioneering of a corporate IT Department and Data Center. Duties included implementation of a corporate network infrastructure to interconnect and provide IT services for several Water Treatment, Wire and Cable, Paper and Construction, and Oil and Gas production divisions across 22+ locations. Other duties included staff recruitment and development, IT strategic planning, policy and procedure creation and administration, Disaster Recovery Planning, network security and monitoring, and centralized system support. The position required maintaining on-going relationships with several technology partners who provide high-level IT support. Additional responsibilities include fiduciary control of a combined annual capital and expense budget of $3.6 million. The position reports to the Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. The IT Manager position was expanded to facilitate alignment of IT and business strategy in addition to previous mentioned responsibilities. Lead a NIST security audit to assess state of IT Security based on NIST 800-53 standard.
