In December 2009, my son was involved in a vehicular hit and run accident. I left CVS Pharmacy to care for my son as he suffered a traumatic brain injury, loss of vision in his left eye and limited use of the left side of his body. During this time, I managed all of his care and treatment at St. John's Hospital, The Kresge Eye Institute and The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. Fortunately, my son no longer requires 24 hour supervision and is on the road to recovery.
