I was responsible for Customer and Investment Service operations as Head of Operations for ReAssure Life, reporting to the ReAssure Life Managing Director.Championing a culture of service excellence, placing the customer experience front and centre of the business, providing leadership and strategic direction across customer services covering Life and Pension policy administration, a customer service centre, investment operations, complaints handling, business delivery / change and governance / oversight functions, totalling circa 265 people.Leading the integration of the business into the broader ReAssure group, aligning process, governance and oversight whilst also integrating our people into their new environment, both culturally and operationally. Integral in the delivery of one of the key strategic objectives – migration of the ReAssure Life business onto core ReAssure systems and operating model, successfully achieved in Oct 2021. A focus of my role also being the delivery of a comprehensive people journey supporting all staff through consultation / redundancy program and eventual closure of the Southampton based operation.
