• Investigate, evaluate and implement agency online accounting/media/production system.• Set up and continually evaluate workflow procedures to accommodate industry changes.• Develop vendor relationships in hopes of becoming “partners” with our agency. Responsible for purchasing of all marketing merchandise and collateral.• Manage internal budgets as well as project specific and overall client budgets.• Manage various departments/personnel--proofreaders, IT, web programmers, production, studio and administrative.• Initiate projects and schedules for entire agency; determine workloads for various departments along with department heads.• Review of all printing and product proofs, attend press runs when applicable.Knowledge of current computer hardware and production software applications in order to research, evaluate and purchase equipment effectively. • Evaluation and setup of Digital Asset Library system • Interact with production and outside vendors to troubleshoot file issues, answer questions and requests.• Work with freelancers in design, production and building of web sites.• Research/obtain training for necessary departments via in-house, group or off-site training.
