Reflecting on my past experiences, I appreciate the immeasurable impact that a high quality early years environment can make on the lives of young people. I also realise that the skills and knowledge acquired in their early years will be used by the children throughout their lives. Therefore, as a Training and Development Manager I aim to lead a team of childcare practitioners to provide the best possible care and education for each child in order for them to achieve their full potential. I believe that the knowledge I acquired whilst working towards Early Years Teacher Status and PGCE in Early Years has enabled me to understand children’s diverse needs and allows me to tailor experiences to suit their learning styles accordingly. I am always looking for ways to improve my own practice through reading and research, attending training and completing more formal qualifications to develop my skills working with children and young people.
