Human Resource (HR) Manager responsible for the day to day HR administration and providing support, counsel & training to the line managers in administering all HR policies and procedures. - Assist departmental managers in developing and maintaining job descriptions for all company positions. - Develop and make recommendations on personnel policies and procedures; maintain and update the Employee Handbook. - Implement new/revise benefit programs. - Analysis of benefit effectiveness. - Assist supervisors/managers in the hiring of new employees by, where applicable, placing advertisements, working with employment agencies, reviewing applications, organizing interviews, interviewing applicants and making offers. - Handle pre-employment tests and new employee paperwork and, working with the supervisor, new employee training. - Assist supervisors/managers in job performance reviews, including the development of competitive salary data. - Assist, plan and coordinate implementation of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules & regulations including OSHA. - Responsible for providing quality oversight and management of each workers compensation claim in a timely and cost effective manner while ensuring injured workers are receiving appropriate care and timely benefits. - Participate in conducting post accident investigation and the preparation of reports identifying possible accident causes and hazards & necessary corrective actions.

- Respond to Employment Verification and Unemployment/EDD requests. - Administers Leave (FMLA or Military) - Assess eligibility, provide forms, tracking leave.- Administer Benefits * Handle Benefit Orientations * Reviews and explain benefit programs with eligible employees. Conducts presentation onsite. * Insuring all eligible employees receive benefits package and participates in orientation. * Collects enrollment forms and submit to payroll and carriers for processing. * Administers benefits by tracking all eligible and enrolled employees’ benefit status. * Open Enrollment for Benefit Programs- Administers Workers Compensation Claims - Filing – Reporting - Tracking- HR liaison with Payroll – time-card and payroll issues.- HR liaison with Supervisors to handle corrective action, terminations, hires and other employee relation issues.- Enforce policies and compliance
