Current• Monitor forecast demand for offshore personnel in the pool by optimising a network of direct engaged and manning agency personnel, always ensuring that there is a supply of offshore personnel sufficient to meet such demand for the short, medium and long term requirements of the business.• In conjunction with Crewing Coordinators, plan and execute the deployment of offshore personnel within the pool in line with strategic manning models, engaging as necessary with territory operations… Show more • Monitor forecast demand for offshore personnel in the pool by optimising a network of direct engaged and manning agency personnel, always ensuring that there is a supply of offshore personnel sufficient to meet such demand for the short, medium and long term requirements of the business.• In conjunction with Crewing Coordinators, plan and execute the deployment of offshore personnel within the pool in line with strategic manning models, engaging as necessary with territory operations, vessel management and other relevant stakeholders.• Provide input to the programme management of major changes in vessel location or operations, including significant up/down manning of the vessel.• Engage with L & D function on training requirements for the pool.• To engage with HR Departments on matters of recruitment and performance management. • To monitor and maximise the utilisation of staff against their contract days, balancing the use of day-rate, and agency personnel, • To review potential regions as new sources of personnel and engage with HR in best process for engaging them in the business.• To understand the pool financially in terms of its budgeted and forecast net costs.• Approve invoices and expenses.• Provide feedback to manning agents with regards to performance of their workers.• Conduct regular checks on the activities of Crew Coordination Teams for your allocated pool to ensure high standards are maintained including but not limited to the following;o Check that all offshore personnel are in possession of the necessary current certification required for their discipline/position. Monitor regular reports that are provided for compliance. Initiate corrective actions where noncompliance is detected.o Check that all personnel records for the pool are kept up to date and retained electronically, wherever possible. • Provide absence coverage for other Principle Crewing Planners.
