I am an experienced leader within the health and social care sector within Wales. I have worked in the secure for over 14 years, I have worked closely with lead managers, local authorities and Care Inspectorate of Wales to ensure high standards of care and welfare were obtained within my experience and delivery of care to vulnerable adults. I have experience of supporting within a variety of social care settings including, learning disability, mental health, residential and supporting living. I have many years’ experience of leading and managing large teams of individuals and have mentored new leaders on a one-to-one basis to ensuring all services being delivered were effective and that positive outcomes were the main focus.I have extensive experience of assessing candidates within the health and social care sector as a QCF assessor at level 5 management. During this time my focus was to support trainees to meet required standards, plan and deliver vocational training programmes and workshops, and to observe and assess practice to ensure occupational standards were met.I have a passion for people and believe in 'getting the best out of people'. I came out of the sector to join the team at Here2there as I love what they do. Transforming lives through the power of technology.
