Launching at the same time as a new website, strategy and brand refresh, the campaign doubled the number of our target audience who thought of RNIB as providing ‘help and support to anyone affected by sight loss’ and raised ‘consideration to support’ RNIB by 50% to an all-time high. It also doubled expected media coverage and exceeded ambitious fundraising goals. - Spot the Signs, a ten week eye health awareness and brand building campaign. 15% of the target audience said they booked an eye test as a result of the adverts and brand health measures showed that consideration to support RNIB increased by 60%. The campaign was was shortlisted for DADI, won a PRCA award, and was nominated by listeners as one of the top ten radio ads of January to June 2013 (Radio Advertising Bureau). - Overseeing a brand audit, brand refresh and customer engagement work to increase significantly audiences' understanding of the importance and relevance of what we do, as well as of the range of support that RNIB provides. Deliverables included: a new audience segmentation bringing together fundraising and services audiences; and journey principles to implement our new strategic focus on customers. I also devised and ran brand training for 400 colleagues across the UK, maintaining a satisfaction rating above 95% and improving internal compliance and understanding of the refreshed brand. I placed coverage including a 108-year-old’s wait for a hearing aid (http://bit.ly/92NObt) and Freedom of Information statistics, generating blanket BBC coverage (eg http://bbc.in/YnGnDL) on 30 December 2007.
