I am an experienced human services professional who has extensive experience working with Adults and Children in a variety of settings. The majority of my past clients have a Mental Health diagnoses - some with Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD) as well. While I do not have a formal Master’s Degree, continuing education has been the key to developing my understanding and ability to work with the populations I have. My academic achievements include numerous courses focused on family and mental health, many of which are referenced within this resume. I currently work as a Mental Health Tech/Nurse Secretary at Cone’s Behavioral Hospital and have many years of social work experience as well as several years training and experience as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. My combined training and experience totals more than many licensed clinicians. Most importantly, I have a passion for my clients and employ the Best Practice rules for their benefit. I am flexible and enjoy training and learning new experiences.
