I’ve worked with children and young people with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and learning disabilities for many years. Over my time working for the National Autistic Society I have gained many skills and learned how to incorporate the needs of each child/young person into the way I work with them. I have also developed a sense as how best to engage with the pupils that I work with and help them achieve their full potential, as well as an ability to think quickly on my feet and adapt rapidly to changing circumstances and situations.

In my time with British Gas I developed communication skills that enabled me to effectively work with a wide variety of people over the phone, helping them with their difficulties and concerns. I was proficient in my role with the customer management software and in general computer skills as part of my job.
