I am currently the Interim Operations Lead/Quality Monitoring and pastoral officer, DSL and CIC lead at Coventry Alternative Provision (CAP) as part of Coventry City Council, where I ensure that students receive personalised support and high quality alternative education. I have over 10 years of experience in education and youth development.I am also a director of Volunteer Friends and the co-founder of Street Aware, award-winning organisations that provide training, mentoring, and education programmes to schools, businesses, and communities. I created nationally recognised OCN accredited training modules in substance misuse, mental health, and safeguarding, and have secured funding and partnerships with various agencies and stakeholders. The results from evaluations I created have shown outstanding changes in thoughts and behaviour in young people towards drugs and alcohol misuse, together with resilience and the ability to be confident in decision making.
